Nate Schatzline has mostly voted to restrict cannabis in Texas.

Left office: Fort Worth Republican and Mercy Culture pastor who had already announced he would not seek reelection, then resigned on July 2, 2026 to become Gov. Abbott's senior adviser on election policy. House District 93 appears twice on the November 3, 2026 ballot: a special election for the rest of his term, and the regular election for the term starting January 12, 2027, with the same two candidates in each. He voted on Senate Bill 3 in May 2025 while serving, so his vote appears on that roll call.
